Report a card error
Accuracy matters most in this game. If a card looks wrong, unfair, or outdated:
- In the App: on the answer card, tap Report an error. This opens an email with the card ID filled in.
- By email: write to redorbluequiz@gmail.com with: - The card ID (shown at the bottom of the card, such as "T05" or "M09") - What you think is wrong - A source link, if you have one (a vote record, law, court ruling, or news story)
Every report is reviewed. Corrected cards reach your App through the next card update, with no app update needed.
Frequently asked questions
How does the game work?
Each card shows a real policy, vote, quote, or action. Swipe left for Blue (Democrat) or right for Red (Republican), or tap the buttons. The answer card shows what each party did and links to the source.
Who decides the "right" answer?
The answer is the party that owns the action: the bill's sponsor, the majority that passed it, or the administration in office at the time. Cards marked Surprise go against what most people expect, and caveats explain the context.
Is this app biased toward one party?
The App is independent and not affiliated with any party, campaign, or government. Every card is based on a public record or reputable report and links to its source so you can judge for yourself. If you think a card is unfair, please report it.
What is the Daily Challenge?
Five cards that are the same for everyone each day. Play once, then share your score with friends.
Why do I see ads?
Ads keep the App free. The free version shows a banner ad and an occasional full-screen ad between rounds. Red or Blue? Pro removes all ads.
How do I control personalized ads?
- iPhone/iPad: if you chose "Ask App Not to Track", you'll only see non-personalized ads. Change it in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Everywhere: open Settings > Privacy Choices in the App to review or change your ad-consent choices, or to turn off personalized ads.
- Android: you can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings > Privacy > Ads.

How do I restore my purchases?
Open Settings > Restore Purchases while signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you used to buy. Packs and Pro come back on reinstalls and new devices.
How do I cancel Pro?
Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before it renews:
- Apple: Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions, or https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions
- Google Play: Play Store > Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions, or https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by the store you bought from:
- Apple: https://reportaproblem.apple.com
- Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory
Do I need an account?
No. There are no accounts or logins. Your scores and streaks stay on your device.
Why did my streak or stats disappear?
Game stats are stored only on your device, so uninstalling the App or switching phones resets them. Purchases can always be restored.
How do I delete my data?
Uninstall the App to delete everything stored on your device. For purchase records held by RevenueCat, email redorbluequiz@gmail.com with your Support ID from Settings > Support ID.
Who is the App for?
Ages 13 and up. Teens see ads with personalization turned off and only teen-appropriate ad content.
Why did a state election pack change after the election?
Election cards are tied to a specific race. After Election Day they may be updated with results, moved, or retired so the App never shows outdated campaign promises as current.
